Yes — five of our apps are free forever, and the Lite version of every Lite-to-Pro app stays free with no trial timer or nag screens. We hate subscriptions as much as you do, so MacNeo will never move to a recurring fee. Pro upgrades are always a single one-time purchase that you keep for life.

Pro upgrades are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record, who handles cards, taxes (US sales tax, EU VAT, KRW VAT), and emails you a receipt automatically after checkout. We never see your card details. If something doesn't work for you, email [email protected] within 14 days of purchase and we'll issue a refund — no questions asked.

Every MacNeo app requires macOS 13 Ventura or newer. All apps are Apple Silicon native (M1, M2, M3, M4) and ship as Universal binaries that also run on Intel Macs from the same era. They're built natively rather than wrapped in Electron, so they open in under a second and barely touch your battery.

Yes — every MacNeo app is signed with our Apple Developer ID and notarized by Apple, which means Gatekeeper opens them on first launch without the scary 'unidentified developer' warning. You can check the signature any time with Right-click → Open or via the Gatekeeper assessment in System Settings. We re-notarize every release before shipping.

No tracking, no analytics SDKs, no advertising pixels — every app runs entirely on your Mac. The only data we ever hold is the email you provide at checkout to receive your downloads, and we never sell, share, or rent it. A few apps reach the public internet for the feature you asked for (e.g. WeatherPet hits a weather API), and those requests carry only what's needed for that specific feature.

Updates arrive via the in-app update prompt — when a new version is ready, the app notifies you on next launch and applies the update with one click. All updates are free forever, including major version jumps, and they ship for both Lite and Pro tiers at the same time. You can also re-download the latest build any time from the link in your Lemon Squeezy receipt email.

Lite is fully functional forever — no trial timer, no expiring features, no nag screens. It gives you the core experience of the app and stays free for as long as you want to use it. Pro is a one-time tip ($3–$5) that unlocks the full feature set: extra characters, history graphs, advanced customization, and similar power-user tools. You only buy Pro if you fall in love with the Lite version first.
